      2. Detox Baths:

      WIthout complex carbohydrates and large insoluble fibers in the digestive system to extend and slow the absorption process, insulin spikes occur too often. A simple example is giving a diabetic with low blood sugar a glass of juice. It enters the bloodstream quickly. Constant insulin spikes increase appetite stimulation. So you can end up drinking even more juice. The problem with any fast or cleanse is things will change when it ends.
      A healthy life diet of whole fresh foods including lean meats, eggs, fish, dairy, whole grains, fresh fruits, and vegetables are the keys to health, proper weight, and overall wellness. Avoid as much processed and refined food as possible.

    I recently had a Body Composition Analysis at a spa and was told I had 2 Liters of toxic liquid in my body. They said I should go on a full body cellular detox claiming that the body holds toxins in fat cells that cannot be removed without detox. They were promoting the Elemis brand internal detox system

      While it is true that the body has within it the means to remove toxins held in areas within it, ... the enormous onslaught of toxins which the body is exposed to in the modern world we live in, is extremely un-natural and the body is not designed to contend with such toxic assault on what amounts to a continuous basis.

      As well, the fact that many today do not eat a truly healthy diet and practice regular exercise etc, ... also does not support the body in cleansing itself of toxins which it accumulates over time. ..... A true detoxification process is one that supports the body in doing what it already knows how to do with respect to cleansing itself of toxins.

      There are specific herbal combinations which will gently support the liver and kidneys and colon etc. in cleansing the body of built up toxins. ...... Properly applied juice fasting is another natural tool that can be utilized towards supporting the body in eliminating toxins.

      A cleansing raw food diet which incorporates plenty of organic produce as well as juicing of fresh produce on a daily basis and accompanied with regular exercise are also very good tools that help to support the body in detoxifying.

      If by 'detox', you are trying to flush your system for a drug test...

      First, Mr. Don't-die-of-water-intoxication is an idiot.

      Yes, drinking water (lots of it) is a safer method of attempting. Water intoxication occurs when you drink too much fluids, too fast, without eliminating them. The whole idea of drinking water is so that you piss as often as possible.

      When a drug is taken into the body, it is broken down and digested into microscopic wastes called metabolites. Basically, drug tests (urinalysis, usually) are aimed at detecting these metabolites in "cut-off" levels. Cut-off levels must be detected at a certain amount of metabolites per milliliter of urine. The more times you piss, the more metabolites are flushed.
      The only problem is it takes a period of time for the drug to be fully processed and digested into these metabolites. So you may be able to eliminate enough in one day, but more drug is digested the next day, you see?
      But drinking fluids is definitely a safe way to attempt this. Cranberry juice seems to work better for me than water.

      In addition to fluid intake, you may also try taking Niacin. It is OTC and can be purchased at most local stores with pharmaceutical departments (Walgreens, CVS, Wal-Mart, etc). Niacin flushes the system a little better, in combination with the fluid intake/release.


      Drink fluids frequently to enable you to piss. Use good judgment - dont try to drink a whole lot at once, but rather a bit less of an amount more times.


      Now, if by 'detox', you mean safely "come down" from the effects of the drugs in your system (meaning you aren't trying to beat a drug test, but rather just get them out so you can feel healthier), then that is a different story.

      The bumps under your arms are side-effects of methamphetamine. They are commonly called 'meth mites' by tweakers.
      They will go away, provided you don't use the drug for a short period of time. Don't pick at them, I've seen people with nasty scars from doing this.
      The brittle nails and hair state are also attributed to crystal. When you're tweaking out, water is being depleted from your cells. Drinking fluids and not taking the drug for a short period of time will help replentish water to your body. (You may also be experiencing extremely dry lips - another common effect).

      Sleeping and getting rest will also help if it is your health you are primarily concerned with.


      Either way it goes man, I'd take at least a short break from the using and drinking. I relate alottt to heavy drug binges and partying alot and having to let the body heal. It will feel like shit for a little while no matter what you do, its a "natural consequence", I guess you might say. Besides, you will enjoy yourself and have alot more fun after you have your health/energy back.

      No. It's not going to clean out your system and I doubt it will show up on drug tests. The typical drug test is a UA (urine analysis) and what they test for is the metabolites of drugs. That is what your body breaks the drugs down into.

      THC (the active drug in weed) metabolites cling to fat cells and can stay there for up to 45 days. Depending on a few factors. How often you smoke and how much body fat you have. If you smoke regularly, chances are you will be dirty for at least 7 days, assuming you have little to no body fat. If you have a lot of body fat (overweight) you can be dirty for longer than 45 days if you smoke regularly. If you smoke like once a month, you will be clean, even if you were drug tested the next day, because the amount of THC metabolites would be way under the tolerance levels of most drug tests.

    Can you recommend a simple 7-day detox routine for your body?
    I know of epsom salt baths and skin brushing, can you recommend any other simple things and what diet to have during that week. I am not interested in losing weight, just cleansing my body.

      Most of the worrying toxins seem to come from chemicals that we have produced ourselves (listed below). Those of most concern are those that have an affinity for fats (rather than water) and therefore accumulate in fat deposits in the food chain, rather than being expelled. And the concentrations increase the higher up the food chain you go, often making human beings with the highest concentrations. Studies in the Arctic show humans and animals with very high concentrations of industrial chemicals.

      In addition to chemical toxins, there are huge numbers of naturally occurring toxins, which is why we have a liver and kidneys to process and expel toxins from our body.

      The argument always seems to be that we have the ability to eliminate toxins, therefore we cannot accumulate toxins. I am sure that many things can help the body better process toxins, but I doubt a single drink (for example) is capable of performing major changes. However, changing your diet and living habits can reduce the load of toxins (giving your system a chance to catch up) and provide your body with the nutrients it needs to allow the system to work optimally.

      The original detox programs were designed for the above. They are simply very healthy diets and lifestyle changes that ensure the specific nutrients needed by the kidneys and liver are included.

      A herb called milkthistle is a natural way to clean out toxins from your liver, etc & it's a gentle way to do it. I used a product called Legalon I think, which was basically milkthistle in tablet form. I guess maybe doing this once or twice a year until the box or bottle is finished.

      I've also tried the drastic product called Colozone. It's very high in magnesium & you take it every night for 7 days & it flushes out your system just like a colonic. It's pretty drastic though, like every morning you have to run to the toilet because it all comes out like liquid diarrhea! It sure did work for cleaning out your system (you should only do this once per year) but it was quite an experience.

      Also psyillium husks are good for intestinal cleansing. It's a powder you put in orange juice & drink everyday, it's basically a gentle fibre & very good for your system, particularly if you tend to not have muesli or anything like that for breakfast. It basically just keeps you having a regular daily bowel movement. It's also very inexpensive & you can get it at your health store. Doctors often recommend it for people who don't consume enough fibre in their diet & maybe get constipated sometimes or aren't having a bowel movement every day.

      A product called HMD heavy metal detox is the best on the market for using if you think you are overloaded with chemicals from things like hair dye you've been using or maybe you've been doing something around chemicals like painting your house or something. It's quite expensive though & not worth it unless you think you're sensitive to chemicals. Also anti perspirants are bad re the chemicals they release into your body (like aluminium cholorhydrate) & you should only use ones with natural ingredients (although it can be a search to find one that actually stops the smell of sweat - I've only managed to find one - it's called Spring Fresh deoderant by Natures Gate in California). Try googling it to buy online if it's not available locally.

      How do I know all this? Trial & error & my naturopath has recommended all this to me & she knows all the good brands (as some are bad quality). So there you go, I've spend a few hundred dollars at my naturopath to find all this out & now you have the same info for free!

      Here's what you do:

      Eat nothing but apples - any variety you like - whenever you are hungry, from the time that you wake up to the time that you usually have dinner. Apples are a good choice for a diet and cleansing program because they don't tend to contribute to dental caries the way that large amounts of other fruits like bananas, dates, and oranges do.

      For dinner on your apple diet, you can have what you usually have. But it would be best if you could have your dinner meal consist of at least 50% green vegetables.

      Oxycodone, of course, is an opiate and opiate withdrawals are miserable but generally not life-threatening. Ibuprofen is useful for the body aches and over the counter antidiarrheals are useful for the diarrhea that often comes.

      Unfortunately, the vomiting is not readily dealt with using over the counter medications - best thing to do at home is to take slow but continuous amounts of water... 1 sip of water every minute - that sort of thing.

      If vomiting is still a problem, a trip to the doctor to confess all and to secure a prescription for antinausea medicine will be required (the antinausea medicine won't make your friend high and it's not addicting).

      People often get through the withdrawal OK but the big trouble is that for up to a year after stopping opiate abuse, life feels depressing, "washed-out," and grey... it's hard to enjoy anything. A lot of support is needed during this time to keep from going back to the opiates. Consider recommending Narcotics Anonymous to your friend for support during this time.

      You may notice either diarrhea or that your poop is a bit bulkier than normal. Be SURE that you are getting enough water. Two liters a day is ideal during a cleanse... at least that!

      I wouldn't be satisfied with just a colon cleanse because the colon really isn't key to digesting and metabolizing nutrients... though it does play a role in poop consistency... look to healing your small intestines. More people have a problem with candida or gut permeability than doctors are aware of. :) There are even home test kits online.

      There's a lot more to acne than eating more fruit and veges and putting something on your face will cure.
      Acne is basically a liver overload problem. Doctors generally speaking don't know about this and will give you meds which will make the underlying problem worse.
      Your best bet is to go and see a naturopath and listen to what they have to say. If they tell you you need liver support and a liver cleansing program then you're on the money. If not, try another one.

      As well as that, you need to clean your face IN A WAY WHICH DOESN'T DRY OUT THE OILS IN YOUR SKIN. I know it sounds wrong, you think that oil is the cause of acne, but it's not. When it mixes with dirt and gets stuck in the pores it does form plugs, but oil itself is the way to dissolve the plugs and clean the pores out. Using soap and strong cleansers, especially ones with alcohol, will make it worse. It'll look like it's working at first but it'll quickly go back to worse than it was before.
      Organic castor oil mixed with organic sunflower seed oil is an excellent cleanser. Read all about it here.

      Finally, you need to stop exposing yourself to chemicals which will add to your liver detox overload. If you're a teenager going thru puberty, a big factor in this is the hormones your body is making. These have to be broken down and eliminated from your body. You can’t do much about that but it makes it doubly important to address the other sources of chemical overload – from junk food and drinks, smoking, drugs, alcohol, your environment, personal products etc.
      Dairy products are also apparently a problem for acne, and gluten in flour is another problem food. Cut them out completely.

      If you suffer from stress, same thing - major load of hormone breakdown products for your liver to deal with. Cut out all alcohol and anything else which damages your liver. That includes paracetamol (Panadol). Clean up your diet, avoid inhaling chemicals and putting them on your skin. Check the labels on your bath products and laundry detergent. They all end up inside your body and add to the liver overload.

      Exercise regularly and intensively - every day if you can. That's a great way to help get toxins out of your body,, sweating and puffing and making your heart race.
      Cut out all sugar and especially sugar substitutes from your diet. Cut out soft drinks. Go on a low-carb diet – ask your naturopath how to do that.

      Get a good dose of sunlight as often as you can, in the middle of the day. Just 10 minutes a day at first. All over your body not just your face. The vitamin D which it produces in your body will help greatly.

      Do all that and you should get rid of it in 90% of cases. If not you may have some unusual cause which needs further investigation. But don’t try to save money by treating it yourself. Go and get professional help, from a wholistic practitioner. Don’t use pharmaceutical drugs except as a last resort, they are usually not the answer and cause a lot of damage in many patients

      Yes it might to get your body in tune in that way. Patrick Holford has a book called 6 weeks to super health, where you go through a natural (food-only) detox and tune up process. You might also want to do some different exercises in addition to what you are doing, or look at the intervals and how often you are training, what intensity etc. And perhaps eat more often, and "graze" rather than eat large hearty meals.

      Hormones is the cause and here is why.....
      If your thyroid is sluggish...this means that you don't have enough digestive enzymes in your stomach, which because of this causes your blood to become dirty, then the liver becomes so overloaded that it cannot filter out the excess hormones and other toxicity in the body. Also the lymph glands need to be drained often, the body does not do this by itself you have to do it.

      You are really just looking at a painful and drawn out way to empty your entire digestive tract.
      The lemon detox/master cleanse diet you are referring to is a calorie deficit program.
      You will lose weight on this diet. The average adult has eight meals in their digestive system. Five more than they should. By going on a deficit diet like this you can lose up to 10 pounds just by not eating. But it is only the weight of the food in your digestive system. At your current weight it will only be 2 or 3 pounds. So it does work. but it does not change your size. Pour the soda out of a bottle and the shape of the bottle doesn't change does it? Once you start eating again you just replace all the missing food in the system.
      The signal these starvation diets send the body is that there is no more food available.       Use Gentain and Dandelion root as well as Milk Thistle all together in combination, in equal parts in a tea. These are all good detox herbs. They tea will taste foul but this is the most potent way to get the herbs. Drink a cup 3-5 times daily. Keep up the vitamins and electrolytes as well.

      Also on the end of the index fingernail on the inside (thumb side) is the accupuncture point for the beginning of the large intestine meridian, tap here around 20 times, then on the side of the hand where you would hit if you did a karate chop, this is the small intestine meridian point, tap here straight after tapping the index finger. keep doing this repeatedly as often as you can throughout the detox, it help tremedously.

    How can I cope with panic attacks if I have no medical insurance?
    The panic attacks I've experienced very infrequently over the last several years have suddenly become horrifying and almost constant since I quit drinking.

    I am twenty-seven, uninsured, and have very little money. My options seem to be: 1. Keep drinking (and even this is becoming less effective); or 2. Buy some kind of benzodiazapines off the street.

    Any suggestions? Is there some kind of free detox program?

      Funny you should ask; that sounds very similar to my situation for the past few years. I also used to self-medicate with alcohol...caused me a lot of court-mandated stuff and general misery. I've since quit drinking, but I remember the initial period was rough with the anxiety.

      If you're in the U.S., I think most average-sized towns have a health facility for flu shots and counseling for lower income folks. It is possible to go in and see a counselor about the anxiety, and possibly a psychiatrist will prescribe small-dose Xanax tablets (Alprazolam). I take 1-2 .5 milligram pills when needed. I must stress however, that these are considered addictive and classed as such. A lot depends on a person's individual body chemistry. Alprazolam is the most widely-used and also the most effective short-term treatment of anxiety, if my memory serves me well.

      The most important part is that I finally learned that when I drank, I actually had MORE anxiety. Because the morning after, you're coming up from extreme relaxation into what seems like an agitated state, in comparison.

      I tend to be long-winded, but mostly try to get in and see one of those counselors. It's nothing to be embarrassed about, by the way. Everyone and their dog needs to see a counselor every so often.

      The problems with detox methods and prescription medication(s):

      If a doctor has tapered your doses off before having you stop, you risk harm to your body. Some medications take over a function or replace a substance lacking or out of whack in your body. Tapering allows time for your body to resume that production. Stopping short puts you at risk for major side effects and a trip to the hospital.

      Other medications. If a doctor prescribes you a medication for two weeks, for example, he wants you to take it for the two full weeks. Not 9 days. Not 20. But 14 days. Sometimes after you start feeling better you think you are well. But the little critters in your system that caused the illness are not quite gone. And stopping short only makes them come back angry and ready to attack. And now they are resistant to that medication. Forcing you to take stronger medication to fix the problem and prolonging your illness. Not to mention emptying your pocketbook.

      The ingredients in detox remedies often contain herbs. Some herbs do not combine well with medication. And have nasty and sometimes fatal effects.

      The herbs in some detox remedies can cause a caffeine like effect only more intensified. Not at all good for your heart. And again, can result in death.

      This question is asked wayyy too often, haha.

      It can be out of your system in as little as 3-5 days if you smoke or ingest a little, only once, after being clean like you were.
      Average time it takes for THC to get out of the system is about 14-20 days. It can take up to 30 days if you were an every day chronic smoker or if you smoke a LOT when you smoke 2-5 days a week or whatever it is for that particular person. Sometimes, for those with slow metabolisms, high body fat percentage, and who do no "detox" work whatsoever, it can take up to 45 days. Most people have it completely out of their system in 30 days and in 14 days drug tests are usually passable, especially if the drug tests are by THC not being above a certain amount or percentage point - as it is in my state.

    What effects does a 3 day only fresh fruit juice diet have?

      It depends on how much pulp is in the juice, I suggest you use a strainer with this. This would be considered a "juice fast" to detox your system, shutting down your digestive system and letting the energy work elsewhere in your body.
      This is good, but it only really begins to have the most effect after 72 hours, because your body will lose the the physical addiction to food, and begin to go into ketosis (fat burning). At this stage it becomes about your mind and learning the difference between real hunger, and cravings. IE, you want a peice of chocolate, but not an apple... if you were hungry, anything would suffice. That's generally how you can tell the difference.
      It is recomended that if you do a juice fast you remain on it for atleast ten days, because anything less then this can confuse the body too much. And it's not something you want to do too often.
      You wont lose much fat, first you will lost mostly water weight, and your body will use the remaining things in your digestive system which have been in there for a while (you would be surprised at how slowly some things digest-up to a week or 2). Then you will lose some muscle for a few days, this is when excersize is important because if your body sees that it needs these muscles it will stop using them for a fuel source, and then it will move onto fat burning.
      But, that only happens after a good amount of time. And you need discipline. But the effects are amazing. I did one for 14 days and my stretch marks and skin cleared. I was really amazed.
      Oh yeah, and you will gain it all back if you don't make some serious adjustments to your diet. You can't break right back into food, it's a slow process. And you wont want to overload your body with too much too fast. It's really a good kick start in the right direction for a full lifestyle change. If you're not up for that, then it's useless because it will all come back.

      To maintain good health, you should do exactly what you propose. But, if you want to tone up fast and develop good fitness throughout life, read on.
      This is a serious answer. I hope it helps.

      *If want to get fit and/or lose weight, here's my Weight Loss Program through Body Building and Nutrition. It works! First, don't Use Diet Pills. They are bad for you. Most of them are just a scam or they are addictive. Counting calories is a pain in the neck.  It will drive you nuts. But, losing weight is simple. You just have to do the right things. 

      *(If you are older and have not exercised in many years you should see your doctor and have a stress test done to be sure your heart is ok before starting this program. Also, walking eveyday is a good lifelong practice.)

      *Fad diets sometimes work but, you can be sure that at least 25% of the weight you lose will be muscle. Then when you stop the diet you will gain back all of the weight you lost but no muscle. So, you will have 25% more fat than you did before! Fad diets just aren't worth the bother. 

      *Fasting or skipping meals will teach your body that famine is common in your world and your body will begin to store more fat to get you through the next period when food is not available.       *Here's another trick that works. For every pound of muscle that you add, your body will burn 3000 calories (1lb) of fat every day. That means that just by having an extra pound of muscle on your body you will burn a pound of fat every day! So, add muscle! 

      *This is the fastest way to add a pound of muscle. Squats and Pushups! You do them on alternate days; squats one day, pushups the next. And you do them SuperSlow style. That is, you do the easy part twice as slow as the hard part. That way you fatigue the muscles quickly. Then you rest the muscles for 48 hours which gives the body a chance to make new muscles.

      *Squats should be done with a wide stance and all the way to the floor. Pushups the with palms shoulder width apart and all the way to the floor, then all the way up. Use the full range of motion of the muscle group you are trying to develop. If you are too weak to do pushups, try them with your knees on the floor or do them with your feet on the floor and your hands an the bed.

      *The idea is to tire the muscles out completely so do a set of squats until you can't do another, then rest for a couple of minutes and do it again. Do that 3 times and you're done for the day. The following day, don't do squats but do pushups. Do them the same way, going down twice as slow as you come up.

      *You will lose weight fast, unless you add more junk food and fat to your diet. Instead, eat at least 5 to 7 different raw vegetables and fruits every day. Cut out anything that comes in a bag, box, can, bottle or any kind of package. In other words, cut out all processed foods, soft drinks and sweets. Eat more grains and less red meat.       You do tend to lose some short term weight will detoxing. Often you get a little dehydrated and you perhaps aren't eating as much. Elimating toxic waste isn't really going to make your body more effeicent of anything. You should feel better and your body will be better because of it though.

    I just came off a 10 day fast where I drank only water and ate nothing. THe first 2 days sucked but overall it was a great way to detox my system, and it gave me lots of energy. I guess the only thing I didn't think about before I started was this: What do I eat first? This fast was not a weight-loss plan (I only lost 2 pounds anyway) but I still DON'T want to gain weight when I start eating. What's the best thing to start back with?       One thing I've learned from years of fasting....NEVER break a fast too fast. You've got the right idea with starting slow on fruits and vegetables. I'd start with juices, teas fresh fruit and raw veggie soups and salads for the next week. Add cooked veggies and brown rice the next week. Stay away from processed foods because it's a real slippery slope to "re-toxing" yourself. Add proteins in on the third week. Eat smaller meals more often throughout the day. Drink water with slices of cucumber or citrus to help hydrate more efficiently. Your body is still detoxing, so keep foods simple and healthy for longterm results.

    What can i do to clean my system from thc in a quick way? ?

      It is stored in fat so there isn't much if anything that can be done to significantly increase the rate of oxygenation of THC into water soluble metabolites. It stays in the fat until it is metabolized primarily by certain cytochrome p450 enzymes. They normally operate in a steady manner and release THC metabolites into the blood at the rate of about half every couple of days for most people. Some are quicker and some slower but there isn't any known way to increase the rate of specific cytochrome p450 enzymes. There probably are things you could do that would help pass. They aren't in any detox kit ingredients I ever saw. It would be ingesting some compound that is metabolized by the same enzymes. It would have to be very non toxic and it would be hard and probably expensive to prove that. That would tie up the enzyme with another compound. At the same time the person drinks a lot of water starting about 5 hours before the test. Then take another glass of water 1 hour before with a b2 pill to color the urine. Both of those should temporarily reduce the concentration of metabolites. They don't actually get THC out any faster since they don't affect the rate of how fast the enzymes work though it might be possible to slow down the enzyme but no such compound exists that interferes but I imagine one of the synthetic cannabinoids would qualify. Using another compound to tie up the enzymes like that would only work if taken about 5 hours before the test. It would actually make the THC stay in the body longer.

      first go for a thorough detox. remove as much of the chemical components in your body as possible. you can do that for one week. and stop taking those steroids. i know its going to be a difficult and painful task but once you're through it, no worries. that is absolutely necessary as STEROIDS ARE ADDICTIVE.then go for a different type of medicine, if possible, ayurvedic. considering that you have been taking steroids for a long time, you can't stop at once, so reduce the dosage every week. work toward one goal- NO STEROIDS IN YOUR BODY ANYMORE !

    People who use benzodiazepines daily or regularly, do you detox for a few days?
    when you find your body become tolerant? How often do you do this and say for instance you take 3 pills daily, should you start when you end up taking double or could you just alternate your medication with other pills.

      If you've been taking benzodiazepines for long enough to build up a tolerance, or find that you need more of them to acheive the same effect then you are in a very dangerous place and reducing the dosage or stopping to 'detox' is something that should never be done without close medical/nursing supervision. Discuss your concerns with your doctor, as there is a standard 'reducing dosage' regimen available to doctors specifically for addressing this issue. Don't change the dosage of ANY prescription drug without discussing it with medical/nursing staff - it was originally prescribed for a reason!

    Is there a way to pass a drug test without buying a detox?
    my work has been doing random drug tests, and i have had to buy like 4 detox's and its getting expensive because every time they test my piss they tell me its to diluted therefore telling them i detoxed or did something to not make the test as accurate, i need something that will completely drain my system of everything.

      For fluid testing (urine,saliva,blood) this will help.
      Exercising alot,but stop 2-3 days before the test so you aren't still breaking down fat and releasing stored THC.Eat a high fiber diet with metamucil ( makes the metabolites cling to the fiber and send it out), red meat, daily multi vitamin,vitamin b-12 helps add creatine to the body if you must dilute.Stay very good hydrated. And test yourself. Use the first pee of the day. That is when your urine will have the highest concentration of THC metabolites.Pee 3 or 4 times and check again. (1 panel THC test kit you can find at any walgreens or CVS ).If you are a small person with a low body mass and good metabolism you can be ok to go but alot depends on how often and how much you smoke.

    Will going 3 days eating Veggies, fruit and nuts detox me?
    I am trying to do 2 things here, detox and drop some weight. I am going to try no meat because I hardly eat it anyway. Will this help detox by body at all?

      Eating meat wont affect you detoxing first off. But if you want to detox eat lots fiber LOTS of it, this really gets your GI tract back on track, but your stool will be watery. Drink lots of fluids Urinate and defecate often don't hold it.

      If your trying to loose weight don't eat as much sugar[and starch and milk they turn into sugar], sugar is turned into fat in your body and stored in the adipocytes. fat in food is not stored it is used to transfer fat soluble vitamins, and can get caught in veins and arteries if not broken down properly.

    Does detox tea make you break out more?
    Iv recently started drinking Get georgious republic of tea. I noticed my face was getting clearer. I decided to also add the Get clean in my diet which helps detox your body and mainly your liver. Well I follow the amount to drink a day and its herbal tea so no caffiene but Iv noticed wwith the detox tea im breaking out more and its mostly on my forehead which I dont usually break out there very much. They are just many tiny little bumps. Anyone know why?

      any kind of detox often shows up on your skin, this is the toxins being released from your body. it will clear up if you keep going, just wait it out. If it starts to itch, though, or gets red or irritated, you may be having an allergic reaction.

    Which supplements are good for patients undergoing chemotherapy/?
    My grandfather is currently undergoing chemotherapy for Lung Cancer and we are trying to do everything possible to help him feel comfortable. He often speaks about loss of energy and loss of appetite. My family and I have been trying to incorporate some natural supplements into the little amount of food that he does eat so that he can try to remedy the issues he is dealing with. So far Noni Juice has been a success, but we are on the lookout for more. Can anyone suggest some other options?       Make a detox tea, watch 'Jerry Brunetti's videos, his a cancer survivor, he had non-hodgkins lymphoma, and he used alternative medicine alone. I think they are on google video or youtube. It include Pau De' Arco, and other antimicrobial ingredients. Look into HyperImmune Milk, the MERCK Patent, its all on Bruunetti's videos, 'A personal odyssey/nutrition' and 'Food as Medicine'

      Also look into the Moss Reports, they cost money to buy the rport, but trust me it is worth it. Ralph Moss takes a scientific approach when evaluating alternative medicine for cancer, specific to whatever cancer that you have, he has a report for all of them. I believe his daughter died of cancer from conventional medicine route.

      I would recommend you see a good naturopath, nutritionist, and an open minded medical doctor to help you fight this. Ask them if they have treated cancer before, and leukemia, and ask for testomies and whether you could talk to their previous patients ect. As well as an orthomolecular doctor {sometimes a good nutritionist is trained in this area also}, as well as a good western botanical medicine herbalist.
